All my dreams pass before my eyes, a curiosity
I'm addicted to Kansas. Since my friend has become a spn watcher, she's been singing "Carry On My Wayward son" NON-STOP. And Now I'm listening to The Greatest Hits of Kansas 24 hours a day. Gave me lots of inspiration *grins*I'd like to thank Deavon from No Bad News for making SotD her July's SOTM :) You can see the hawtness she gave me and read her sweet words here. ~*ART*~-8 new walls-
-Dust in the wind- : This doesn't have any deep meaning, I just wanted it to be dreamy and kind of sad, just like the song is. I like it a lot ^^
-Alien Liz- : This started as a normal Liz Parker wall and then I imagined how funny she would look as an Alien lol I had lots of coloring fun ^^
-Heaven- : The first of 3 Btvs epi walls *dances* ! I kept this very simple, with only one stock picture, and I'm happy I did cuz it looks nice.
-It Burns- : I LOVE this ! I have no idea how the text ended up so grafitti-like, but I luuuurrrve *grins* The fire represents his soul and the cross his pain, just like in the main scene.
-We are Forever- : This is actually a remake of a piece I made 3 years ago. I kept some of the same blending effects, like the explosion near Buffy's face. Again, a very simple piece but I like it.
-This is me- : Kate and me started a battle based on some O.C. characters and this is my Summer's round. I tried some John-like ligns effects but they're not fabity fab like his. Let's face it : he and he alone is the Master of the magic ligns effects *bows in front your magic powers - again - lol* I'm happy with the rest of the wall though :)
THE PIECES BELOW ARE BASED ON THE NOVEL "THE HOST" AND ARE SPOILERY - ESPECIALLY THEIR EXPLANATIONS - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !
After searching through some "The Host" communities, I chose Megan Fox has Melanie/Wanda cuz she was the closest of what I imagined. I immediatly pictured Jensen as Jared. I mean come'on, who else could portray the most beautiful man on Earth ? *grins*
-Lonely Soul- : A Wanda/Melanie piece, but mostly Wanda. I wanted to do a wall about Wanda's loneliness when it comes to her social Soul status, how being different makes her so unique. And also her loneliness in the human survivors' community, because being the only - alive - Soul there affected her and scared her a lot at first. But of course, when it comes to herself and her body, she ain't alone at all since she has Melanie with her. I know this doesn't seem to make any sens but it does in my head *grins*. I tried to give the piece an "Alien" look and I think I succeeded :) One Republic has such perfect lyrics for this book, I'm planning to do more walls with them. I also incorporated my favorite "The Host" quote to the piece :)
-Fire- : Couldn't resist a little Melanie/Jared flamey art *drools* I'm soooo happy with the manip, took ages to do but it looks okay. The coloring and text effects suck though, but after playing with them for approximately 3 days, I couldn't end up with anything better *sigh* Again, with one of my favorite quotes - this one's Melanie's.

2 1024x768 and 1680x1050 textures. (EDIT 16/07/08 : added 3 more hihihi /EDIT)
1 set of "abstract" brushes. I'm currently trying to figure out how the "Pen tool" works, and lately I ended up with cool shapes that I wanted to share :)

Well maybe I'm just dreaming out loud
New layout ! Again featuring Kristen Bell, these pictures are so cute ^^ Hope you like what you see ! As for life news, I'm still in a lazy mode but my muse gently came back and I now have a decent amount of wallpapers to add :) You can also expect some "The Host" art soon :) Oh and also, I know I said this a thousand times already but thanks SO MUCH for the bday wishes, I feel loved ^^ And thanks again Wicca_Jaz for this lovely gift ! *hugs*~*ART*~-5 new walls-
Will it surprise you if I say that there were all pretty much made for challenges ? *hihihi*
-Resist you- : It wasn't supposed to be a wall, I made it 1024x768 at first but I didn't think I would finish it after making the layout. I'm very glad I did keep it cuz I'm in loooove with this piece ^^
-Beneath the Silver Moon- : I know, I know, I already used the lyrics in other pieces :P But this is the first thing that came in mind when I arted it. I like this one very much because it's a bit different than what I usually do.
-Giles- : This is great, very simple, neat and dark. I'm not a big fan of clock stocks, but this one was actually an antique pocket watch and it immidiately reminded me of the one Giles had in "Restless".
-Who I am inside- : I don't really like Rihanna, but she looks great in these pictures. I like the result and the green shades very much, it's not something I'm a lot familiar with but it was fun to experiment :)
-Always Perfect- : Now this... I think I like it, I'm still not sure. It kind of reminds me of candy, like lollipops or something... I know, I'm weird *grins*

The free layout section wasn't really useful so I deleted it. I also put the brushes and patterns together, it makes coding so much simpler :) And I added a new gradients set, enjoy !
