Shadow of the Day's SOTM
No Bad News is one of the warmest and lovable places on the web IMO : something about the layouts makes you feel happy, comfortable, like you're exactly where you should be browsing. I truly believe this is because of the webmiss, Deavon, who is the sweetest and kindest person ever. It's very easy to love Deavon, she has a lovely-crazy-hilarious personality and she's always up for fun (such as dorky monstruous emails xD - really, she tolerates my excessive babbling, see how awesome she is ? lol) Oh and her art, JESUS. It's life, I think it's the best word to express how impressive her captures of emotions are. The way she blends her walls is just amazing : it's like watching the original scene. I've found myself very emotional while looking at her arting, even when I didn't knew the fandom or the scene itself. Her pieces are so full of life that you can feel what the characters feel. It's pretty fantastic, if you ask me :)
See, I don't really like OTH and I've never watched that scene, but I still feel strongly emotionnal when I look at this amazing wall. It's just so... true. Deavon really knows how to bring feelings. She must have some secret powers or something lol
